Aaron VanLaan is a composer and arranger from the Memphis area. Involved in music from a young age, he fell in love with the saxophone from the first time he heard the instrument. Though life would come along and sideline his musical aspirations for a time, music never completely left it’s place in his life. Fast forward to today and after the past several years of self initiated study, Aaron has found his footing back in the musical world, striving to continuously improve his craft. Though he continues expanding his compositional horizons in many genres, his heart has always been enamored with the big band sound.
